This training is to provide guidance on completing EMP workcards for Engine Ground Run Performance Checks.
This is the first in a series of recurrent RII scenarios required under Empire's Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual.
This is the initial Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) training course for EWIS Target Group 1 personnel as defined in FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 120-94:
Personnel performing EWIS maintenance - these personnel work directly at maintaining or modifying EWIS.
A. This course is designed to familiarize Required Inspection Item (RII) candidates with the policies and procedures involved with performing critical safety of flight inspections following scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on part 121 aircraft operated by Empire Airlines.
B. This training will be provided to appropriately certificated mechanics that are seeking Empire RII authorization, and will provide the candidate with tools necessary to perform successful RII inspections.
C. The candidate will be introduced to the process of determining RII tasks, where to document inspections, and examples of some items to be inspected during an RII inspection. At the end of the training are scenarios that will walk the candidate through the RII process to ensure full understanding of the RII process; a final exam will also be presented that must be completed to ensure the candidate understands Empire’s RII program.
